And we begin

So starting this blog for my husband Walter and I is so far outside of my knowledge and comfort zone that I realized that it was a challenge I was willing to take on.  Much like our new hobby (maybe future life style) sailing.  Although Walter has spent most of his childhood and much of his adult years on the water I have not. We both have set off on an adventure with our sailboat 4 ever & A Day.  Our adventures are always close to home as my husband takes me under his wing.  We have only run a ground once, had the engine overheat and shut done while entering the shipping channel once, come close to running to a concrete pillar once and most defiantly come close to being run into by a much bigger boat once.  There is a pattern of mishaps only happening once and we hope to keep it that way but I, we do expect there to be many more "once" ahead of us.
